1. Data Collection

The current version does NOT collect any user data.

• No browsing history, page content, or personal information is collected
• No analytics, tracking, or telemetry code is embedded
• API keys are stored exclusively in the browser's local storage and are never uploaded to any third-party server

A future paid version may collect:

• Email address (for account authentication and license validation)
• Usage data (associated with the account for license verification)

Prior to any such collection, users will receive explicit notice within the extension, and data collection will only begin after user consent is obtained.

2. Data Usage

Collected data (if any) will be used solely for:

• Providing paid features and verifying license status
• Improving product experience

3. Data Sharing

No user data is sold, rented, or shared with any third party. Simplification requests are sent directly to user-configured AI providers (e.g., DeepSeek, OpenAI, Moonshot).

4. Data Security

User information is protected using industry-standard encryption. API keys are stored locally in the browser and do not pass through any intermediary server.

5. User Rights

You may at any time:

• Inspect data stored by the extension (via browser DevTools)
• Delete all local data (via the extension settings page or by clearing browser data)
• Contact the developer to request account data deletion
